Garden
The garden faces east and catches the morning and afternoon sun. It backs onto half a mile of gardens and so is very tranquil and bright. The small patio has a BBQ and there is a garden table and chairs.
Colour comes from various plants in the rockery, large pots with perennials and variegated bushes and garden flowers. It is a lovely setting to enjoy sitting out with others or enjoying a quiet coffee.
The grass lawn, small trees and plantings provide an enclosed, green and tranquil spot.

Parking
The drive will park two modest sized cars with the gate open. The driveway does taper, so care is required.
Roadside parking is usually available immediately outside the house. This suits larger cars / people carriers.
Around the house there is roadside parking, please do avoid parking outside of our neighbours' houses if at all possible. The accommodation is community based and it is understandably tiresome for them if they lose their routine spot.
We strongly encourage larger or commercial vehicles to park 100 metres away in Sainsbury's car park (for a small fee). This prevents disruption to local parking norms.
7.2kWh EV Charging
Complimentary EV charging to the overnight schedule between 00:30 and 05:30 during your stay.

The 7.2kWh EO charger is untethered (please bring your own Type 2 cable).

If you require a daytime charge, please arrange by phone, 50p per kWh.

The House
Beautifully developed and maintained
Lathom, our former family home, has been a rental since 2012.
Since constructed in the 1930's, the internal layout has seen change, including a double dormer loft conversion, removal of a chimney, bead cavity wall and internal insulation, space efficient radiators, oak flooring, new boilers, wood burning stove and more lately conversion of the small single bedroom into a modern shower bathroom.
We didn't plan this when the house was initially chosen. We were drawn to the strategic location, parking, south side-wall aspect, attractive garden size, views to Lancaster over half a mile of mature rear gardens and open aspect at the front which looks up the side road.
The house still retains its charm - warm, private, cozy, spacious, light and airy, quiet, in a lovely neighbourhood with excellent road links to the Promenade, M6 and Heysham.
